LIVERPOOL nights will be spiced up once again as All Things Latin brings the city its fourth Latin American Festival.Fiesta Latina 08 will present artists from Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Cuba, Chile, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Argentina and Gran Canarias.

This year’s theme is identity, with performances, workshops and activities promoting Latin American culture. The exciting line-up includes the world renowned Roberto Pla Latin Ensemble of Colombia (October 10), Spain’s top Reggaeton artist Foncho (October 4) and leading Peruvian Dance group Baila Peru (October 9).

There will be a spectacular Salsa Weekend, including a fun Salsa competition open to everyone aged over 16 (October 11); a carnival workshop; Latin American film showings (October 7&8); a Spanish Night; and the popular Family Day (October 5) with children’s entertainers, food, workshops and presentations; and many, many more events.

Throughout October, All Things Latin will be staging a photographic exhibition of Latin Americans living and working in Liverpool and Merseyside.

Fiesta Latina 08 will also see the launch of the performance space at El Rincon Latino, a place for Latin American culture to thrive.
